Pharmacy In Ridgefield Park, NJ Seeks a Field Pharmacy Technician/ADS

Travel Pharmacy Technician/ADS Requirements:

• Able to work independently under the direction of a supervisor.
• Maintain active communication with client facility and pharmacy staff, primarily through email.
• Utilize various applications (myQlink, OmniCenter) to obtain reports.
• Maintain accurate information at each ADS (Automated Dispensing System) (quantity and expiration date).
• Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billing.
• Replace potentially expiring inventory.
• Restock depleted inventory.
• Pull and pack medications for daily routes.
• Code-controlled substances, when applicable.
• Monthly audits (cycle count).
• Prepares standard documentation and reports to include discrepancies, expense reports, and others as directed.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.

Field Pharmacy Technician/ADS Qualifications:

• NJ Pharmacy Technician experience required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous pharmacy experience required (one-year experience in long-term care preferred).
• Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferred.
• Good organizational skills and detail-oriented.
• Must have a valid driver's license and your own vehicle.
• Availability and flexibility to work after hours when needed during peak times.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.
• Willing to drive long distances in the state of New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
