Design Sales Consultant Location Atlanta, GA (Cascade Heights area) :

The Design Sales Consultant maximizes sales and consistently delivers exceptional guest experience. Design Sales Consultants utilize our selling model to close transactions.

We represent over 300 manufacturers, and we do custom furniture as well. Your passion, creativity, and sales ability will keep you engaged in our fun environment.

Position:

This position is a full-time sales position with interior design creativity to enhance the sales process. You must be able to discover the client's needs, identify the solution and close the sale. You will create Mood Boards to sale to customers and work with our client service and delivery team for final installation. You will also be selling to individuals that come into the showroom looking for just one or two items.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Position is highly sales driven and requires a passion for home furnishings.
  • Assisting with customers furniture, lighting, rugs and fabric selections.
  • Design and layout floorplans with proper furniture and accessories.
  • You Must have a passion for sales, furniture, and interior design.
  • Maintain and design showroom vignettes.
  • Performs opening and closing duties on a daily basis such as locking/unlocking the store and turning on/off the computer system.
  • Coordinates special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Home Furnishings Sales Experience.
  • Must Be Able to Design, Sale and Close Transaction.
  • Must be a team player
  • 4 Year College degree(not required) with 2+ years of related work experience preferred or 5 years of related work experience without a degree.
  • Ability to varied work schedule to provide support for showroom, sales events, meetings, networking functions, etc.
  • Knowledge of STORIS (POS SYSTEM)
  • AUTO CAD
  • Excellent communication, reasoning skills, and computer proficiency skills.
  • Ability to speak, read and write English.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Maintain professional appearance and demeanor
  • Must have ability to safely lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • The ability to be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time
  • Able to regularly perform store maintenance items: sweep, vacuum, empty trash, clean
  • Ability to use and climb ladders
  • Maintain physical stamina and a proper mental attitude and ability to deal with customers, management, employees, and outside contacts while working under pressure and meeting deadlines with attention to detail

Furniture sales and knowledge are a must. Must know PowerPoint and Design Software is a bonus. Able to travel to vendors, workrooms, and client's installations. Car required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
