Job Description

The Dialysis Technician receives daily onsite direction for the delivery of patient care from the unit registered nurse, supervisor, or manager. The position is also responsible for operating dialysis equipment, communications with patients, staff, and outside organizations, observing safety procedures, and performing relief and/or project duties as related to the overall goals of the department and company. Treatments and decision-making are based on established procedures and practices. **Required Education and Experience** High school diploma or equivalent experience. Completion of a training program for clinical Hemodialysis Technicians. Minimum of one-year paid work experience in the medical field. **Required Credentials** Current Basic Life Support for Heathcare Providers (BLS). Current Washington State Medical Assistant Hemodialysis Technician Certification (HT). Certified Hemodialysis Technologist/ Technician (CHT) through BONENT or Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician credential (CCHT) through the NNCC upon hire. **Preferred** Experience in Pediatrics. **Compensation Range** $23.15 - $34.73 per hour **Salary Information** This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year).
