The Collections team at BILL plays a critical role in safeguarding the companys financial health and supporting customer relationships. As Director of Collections you will lead a high-performing team responsible for developing and executing strategies that optimize collections performance minimize risk and drive operational excellence. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of collections at BILL influence cross-functional initiatives and deliver measurable business impact in a dynamic growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Collections function (SMBs) aligning with BILLs broader business objectives and growth plans.
• Lead mentor and scale a diverse team of collections professionals fostering a culture of accountability continuous improvement and inclusion.
• Design and implement innovative processes policies and technologies to maximize recovery rates while ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Analyze portfolio performance identify trends and proactively address emerging risks through data-driven decision making.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Risk Product Customer Success and Finance to drive end-to-end process improvements and support new product launches.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) reporting regularly to senior leadership and recommending course corrections as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies championing best practices in risk management and customer treatment.

• Excellent communication collaboration and stakeholder management abilities.

The estimated base salary range for this role is noted below for our office location in Draper UT. Additionally this role is eligible to participate in BILLs bonus and equity plan. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience expertise and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical dental vision life and disability insurance 401(k) retirement plan flexible spending & health savings account paid holidays paid time off and other company benefits.
