H&K Equipment is the premier dealer of forklifts, container handlers, railcar movers, utility vehicles, and more in Pittsburgh and the greater tristate area. Headquartered minutes from downtown Pittsburgh and with additional facilities in West Virginia, we sell, rent, service, and rebuild the most unique selection of custom and heavy-duty material handling equipment in the industry. Our technicians and in-house capabilities enable us to tackle jobs that no other shop can handle.

We are currently seeking an experienced Dispatcher for our Coraopolis, PA shop.  Applicant must have a proven record in a service  environment. This is a full-time day position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Answer customer calls and respond in a timely manner
• Compile field service estimates, submit for approval, and process
• Open work orders for field technicians and dispatch as needed
• Manage individual field technician’s workload, Work-in-Process (WIP), and utilize the Dispatch Board
• Work with service manager and team to collect information for ongoing jobs
• Process work orders, purchase orders and coordinate with vendors and schedule
• Manage field technicians’ territory boundaries

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 2 years of experience as a service dispatcher; 3-5 years of experience preferred
• Mechanical background helpful
• Ability to work under pressure is essential
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
• High school diploma or equivalency
