Scope:
Responsible for the efficient cleaning, processing, and storage of all hotel linens and uniforms to ensure a consistent supply that meets the hotel’s high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Primary Responsibilities:
Collects soiled linens from designated areas and sorts items by type, color, and soil level. Inspects all linens for damage or stains and records findings.
Operates commercial washers, dryers, and related laundry equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards. Ensures proper use and measurement of chemicals in each cycle.
Folds, organizes, and stores clean linens appropriately. Operates linen feeders, sheet folders, towel folders, and ironing equipment as required.
Assists with daily linen counts and contributes to accurate monthly inventory reports.
Reports any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor promptly.
Responds to guest requests for linens or laundry services in a courteous and timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Maintains a professional appearance and upholds hotel grooming and uniform standards at all times.
