About the Role We are seeking a strategic and hands-on
Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations for a well-established electronics manufacturer headquartered in Mankato, MN. This organization specializes in designing and producing high-reliability electronic assemblies for industries such as medical, industrial, and defense. The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience, driving talent initiatives, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations.
Job Description As the Human Resources Manager, you will oversee all aspects of HR including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance. You’ll collaborate closely with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with company objectives and legal requirements.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance improvement plans.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, including open enrollment and vendor management.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Lead initiatives related to employee engagement, retention, and professional development.
- Maintain HRIS systems and generate reports for leadership.
Qualifications Required: - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred: - PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and data analytics.
