Job Summary:
The primary duty of this position is to see that the highest levels of communication, quality, and efficiency are maintained or exceed all aspects for our landscape enhancements. Is responsible for the landscape project planning and the management of projects on and off site. Oversees enhancements projects to substantial completion and through the warranty period, communicating with customers and sales person, setting up projects, and maintaining quality standards. Coordinates with the Maintenance Director and Scheduling Coordinator to schedule manpower, materials, and equipment resources.
Typical Responsibilities
Review and Approve Enhancement proposals by sales staff to ensure proper project resources (primarily labor and materials) and do so in a timely manner (less than 24 hours).
Read and follow all work orders, designs, materials lists, guidelines, and apply necessary timelines to the schedule. Communicate with clients and sales staff the timeline and expectations of projects.
Leadership, Management and Accountability of Enhancements field staff, including but not limited to: new hire approvals & onboarding, performance reviews, daily job planning and feedback, accountability conversations, time entry approvals, scheduling of staff and management of hours worked within company guidelines,
Production:
Meet weekly/monthly/quarterly targets for: revenue, efficiency, quality,
Enhancement Logistics: Work with the Scheduling Coordinator and Account Managers; Schedule jobs in Aspire; Manage subcontractors
Management of 2-5 total crews
Work with Fleet Manager to ensure all vehicles and equipment are safely and properly used and maintained.
Training & Upholding Production Processes:
Onsite training w/ Crew Leaders and Team Members
Career Ladder Management/Guidance
On-site accountability for basic safety policies: Safety Glasses, Ear Plugs, Cones, Backing with a spotter
Truck cleanliness, organization, stocking, fueling, etc
Lead Crew Leader meetings
Enhancements Logistics:
Work with Sales and Account Managers to ensure proper planning and communication
Order and schedule material deliveries to all projects as needed, working with Purchaser on applicable items.
All jobs planned, sourced, and ready to go by day prior to job start.
Ensure all costs are properly applied to work orders within company software
Document & report feedback on projects for improved estimating, planning, job process, etc
Receive daily input and work order forms from the Crew Leaders, as pertaining to budget, schedule, and productivity.
Other duties as assigned by Director
Qualifications (You may apply even if you don’t meet every qualification)
3+ years experience in leadership and management.
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
Excellent client/vendor/team communication.
Meeting and hitting labor/material budgets.
Proficient at scheduling/dispatching.
Detail oriented with schedules and numbers.
Ability to maintain professionalism at all times even in difficult circumstances.
Proficient and professional in phone and email communication.
Ability to maintain a high level of organization.
Proficient with computers.
Ability to quickly learn and use various types of software (CRM, GSuite, Aspire, etc.).
Detailed and accurate record keeping.
Salary - $65,000 - $75,000 DOE
