We are seeking a dedicated Locums Pediatric Hospitalist Physician to provide comprehensive pediatric and newborn care in Grass Valley, CA. This role involves 24-hour shifts with weekend coverage and 24/7 on-call responsibilities. You will support the Family Birth Center, Emergency Department, and inpatient pediatric services.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily newborn rounding in the Family Birth Center
Provide coverage for newborn and delivery needs
Conduct ED consultations for pediatric patients
Admit pediatric patients from the ED to the inpatient unit (rare occurrence)
Perform neonatal resuscitations and assist with pediatric resuscitations in the ED and inpatient setting, including airway management, venous access, and related procedures
Schedule:
24-hour shifts
Weekend shifts required
24/7 on-call responsibilities

Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years) in Pediatrics
Active California medical license
Active DEA
Proficiency in neonatal resuscitations and pediatric emergency procedures
