Service Porter & Quality Control (QC) Specialist Tom Wood Subaru – Indianapolis, IN Tom Wood Subaru in Indianapolis is seeking a Service Porter & QC Specialist to support our service department’s daily operations and ensure every vehicle meets our high-quality standards before returning to our customers. This dual-role position plays a key part in maintaining efficient service flow, vehicle safety, and customer satisfaction. Schedule & Pay * Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM * Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (rotational with one weekday off) * Pay: $18/hour Key Responsibilities * Safely transport, park, and retrieve customer vehicles throughout the dealership lot * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service drive, parking areas, and shop spaces * Greet customers in the service lane and assist with directing them to service advisors * Stage vehicles appropriately for technicians and prepare vehicles for customer pickup * Perform detailed post-service quality inspections to confirm all repairs and services were completed correctly * Identify and report any issues or discrepancies to service advisors or technicians promptly * Ensure every vehicle meets dealership quality standards prior to customer delivery * Deliver outstanding customer service and contribute to a positive dealership experience * Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs Qualifications * Friendly, professional demeanor with strong communication and customer service skills * Positive attitude with a commitment to high-level customer service * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks * Team-oriented, flexible, and eager to learn * Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions * Required: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Benefits * PTO & Vacation * Paid Holidays * Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance * 401(k) with Company Match * Life & Disability Insurance * Training & Tuition Reimbursement * Service Awards & Career Advancement Opportunities * Wisely & DailyPay About Tom Wood Group The Tom Wood Group is proud to be family-owned and locally operated for over 50 years.
