Part-Time Afternoon Nanny – Millburn, NJ

Compensation:
$30-35 per hour, depending on experience

Start Date:
By end of summer / beginning of the school year (flexible for the right candidate)

Benefits:

• Federal holidays off and paid, 2 paid sick days, one week of paid vacation
• 20 Guaranteed weekly hours

• Reimbursement for mileage or gas if required

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM (20 hours per week)

About the Family:
A kind and professional family in Millburn is seeking a reliable part-time nanny to care for their two children, ages 3 and 6. The family is looking to build a long-term relationship with a warm, responsible caregiver. Both parents work hybrid schedules and value a nanny who is confident, punctual, and attentive to safety, especially when driving.

Commitment:
Long-term, part-time

Responsibilities:

• Primary care for the six-year-old, as the three-year-old will be in school until 5:30/6pm
• Pick up children from school or bus stop
• Drive children to after-school activities (using your own reliable car)
• Help with homework and after-school routines
• Prepare and serve simple family-friendly dinners

• Provide safe, engaging, and nurturing care for both children

• Flexibility for school holidays and breaks when the children are not in school

Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced with school-aged and preschool-aged children
• Proactive, responsible, and safety-conscious
• Calm and confident driver with excellent judgment
• Warm, communicative, and professional

• Looking for a consistent, long-term part-time position

• Familiar with the Mandarin language

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant nanny experience
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required)
• Reliable personal vehicle

• Must have US work authorization

• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Provide 3-5 professional references
