Position Overview: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

We are seeking a HIGHLY SKILLED INSURANCE ROOFING ESTIMATOR with strong experience in writing, reviewing, and supplementing insurance scopes. The ideal candidate understands how to correctly evaluate property damage, identify missing line items, and professionally communicate justification for supplements while ensuring policyholders receive accurate and adequate coverage for their restoration needs.

This role requires BOTH technical roofing knowledge and deep familiarity with insurance estimating platforms (ESPECIALLY Xactimate).

Responsibilities: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY 

• Create detailed, industry-standard estimates using Xactimate (or equivalent software).
• Review insurance adjuster scopes and identify missing, inaccurate, or underpaid line items.
• Prepare and submit supplements with proper documentation and justification.
• Communicate professionally with adjusters, homeowners, and internal teams.
• Stay current on building codes, manufacturer requirements, and insurance claim guidelines.
• Assist project managers with budget alignment and job handoff after approval.
• Maintain organized records of claims, photos, measurements, and correspondence.

Qualifications: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY 

• 2+ years of experience as a roofing estimator or in insurance restoration.
• Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and manufacturer specifications.
• Proficient in Xactimate (Level 2 preferred) and modern estimating practices.
• Ability to identify and justify supplements based on legitimate omissions or code requirements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and documentation skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
