Reports to: Property Manager/Executive Director

Qualifications:
 Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and
perform simple arithmetic.
 High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and
documentation.
 criminal background and drug test required

Work schedule: Overnight position, core work hours are from 09:30pm to 8:00 am. Weekend
position available – Friday, Saturday, Sunday – schedule subject to change

Work location/conditions: Light to moderate physical effort 90% of the time; may be exposed
to the elements (heat, cold, rain, snow); ability to lift 50 pounds; ability to stoop and stretch
occasionally.
Routine engagement with residents, staff and visitors.
General Responsibilities:
 Must be neat in appearance with a strong desire to provide courteous and professional
Service.
 Alertness with safety in mind at all times for Residents, guests, employees and property
is a must.
 Makes scheduled rounds both inside and outside the buildings to maintain a secure
environment for residents and their property as well as company property
 Responds to all fire alarms and apartment emergency calls
 Monitors all buildings and grounds per storm for safety
 Answering Phone Professionally and transferring calls
 Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
 Carry pager and respond to resident pages. If medical attention is required, call nurse in
Memory Care for assistance. In the event of a medical emergency, consult with nurse
and call 911. Assist emergency personnel on arrival.
 Deliver daily newspapers to resident mailboxes.
 Medical Knowledge or experience working with Seniors beneficial
 Various duties assigned as needed within buidling
