Amazon is seeking a Supply Chain Manager with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional and technology projects and programs across multiple verticals. This role requires scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process/product changes. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. The ideal candidate will leverage extensive project management experience, combined with deep analytical capabilities and a keen sense of innovation, to lead complex projects from conception to completion.
We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to effectively manage the creation and enhancement of our supply chain and transportation networks. In this role, you will scope large projects, track project timelines, and develop mechanisms for communicating status, risk, and business challenges. The ideal candidate must be adept at cross-team coordination, project management, and analyze data, with a proven history of delivering results.

- Bridge gaps in team dynamics, processes, and systems, preventing common project pitfalls.

Amazon's vision for the future is one where Fulfillment Centers operate as a local store with up to 60% of flows for each DS will come from a single upstream FC. The Network Optimization & Regional Design (NORD) Team's mission is to create the roadmap to enable this vision and drive cross-functional initiatives to make rapid progress towards it. The team will work across the breadth of the Supply Chain to identify opportunities to improve placement, make better fulfillment decisions and guide the development of the right infrastructure and network design to bring it all together.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- 2+ years of supply chain experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
