Job Description

K & R Truck Sales is a locally-owned group of companies dedicated to providing top-notch full-service truck dealership services. Based in West Michigan with five locations, our reach extends far beyond Grand Rapids, Holland, Muskegon, Lansing, and Kalamazoo. We offer comprehensive support, including flexible financing, leasing/rentals, emergency/full service, and multiple body shops. We are currently seeking a dedicated Light-Duty Tow Truck Operator to join our team. This role involves responding to various vehicle recovery situations. The typical work hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a rotation for after-hours on-call duties, requiring a 15-minute response time for 911 calls.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to dispatch calls for vehicle recovery and towing services.
• Safely winch vehicles out of ditches and upright roll-over vehicles.
• Tow vehicles to designated repair facilities or storage lots.
• Maintain the tow truck and equipment in good working condition.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency services.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Possess a Chauffer's Driver’s License.
• Exhibit a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work well with others and maintain good interpersonal relationships.
• Willingness to learn and advance to heavy-duty towing operations.
• Availability to be part of an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
