Warehouse Associate job at Careerscape Columbus, OH, US

Job Description

Our client, a third-party logistics provider, is hiring five Warehouse Associates for their Columbus distribution center. The facility handles e-commerce fulfillment for retail and DTC brands, shipping over 50,000 orders per day during peak season.

This is a day shift position, Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm. You'll pick orders, pack shipments, and operate material handling equipment. The warehouse is climate-controlled and the company maintains a strong safety culture.

No prior warehouse experience required. The company provides paid forklift training and certification for candidates who demonstrate reliability.

Responsibilities

Pick orders accurately using RF scanner and warehouse management system
Pack items securely for shipment via UPS, FedEx, and USPS
Operate pallet jacks and reach trucks to move inventory
Receive inbound shipments and verify quantities against purchase orders
Stock shelves and maintain organized bin locations
Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets
Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE
Assist with inventory counts as needed

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Ability to stand and walk for 8-hour shifts
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
Basic math skills for counting and verification
Attention to detail and accuracy
Reliable transportation to warehouse location
Forklift certification a plus but not required
Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required
