Job Description

LaSalle Network has teamed up with a global sourcing and trading company specializing in consumer goods, with a strong presence in international markets. They are currently looking to hire a Manager of Finance to oversee the Finance and Accounting operations in the US.

Finance Manager Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit timely, accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements to the corporate headquarters
• Maintain compliance with corporate accounting principles, policies, and reporting deadlines
• Analyze variances and trends in P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow to support strategic decisions
• Oversee all aspects of the P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring
• Maintain integrity of the balance sheet, ensuring accurate reconciliations and account management
• Assess and support local financing needs, including loans, credit lines, and banking relationships within the group’s financing structure
• Support business planning and strategic initiatives with data-driven insights
• Act as the primary liaison with external tax advisors and potential auditors to support compliance, filings, and audits
• Lead and develop two direct reports, fostering accountability and continuous improvement

Finance Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in finance or accounting; advanced degree a bonus
• CPA/MBA preferred
• 5 + years of progressive financial experience and leadership, ideally in an international or multi-entity environment
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP), financial reporting, and treasury functions
• Proven experience with P&L management, budgeting, and strategic financial planning
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
• Chicago area candidate with hybrid availability
