Creative Arts Therapy Source, PLLC

We are currently seeking a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist or Limiter Permit eligible (Art/Movement/Drama) to provide in person individual therapy in a private practice setting. The ideal candidate will have experience and interest in working with children (age4+), teens and adults.

About Us

We are a team of Licensed and Board Certified Creative Arts Therapists (LCAT) who provide creative approaches in therapy to help our clients cope and overcome their struggles. Our specialties include helping children, teens and adults struggling with grief, anxiety, ADHD, depression, and trauma. We work with individuals, couples, groups and families.

Our office is located at 950 Franklin Ave. Garden City, NY 11530

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate has a Masters degree and is a NY State Fully Licensed Creative Arts Therapist or eligible for Limited Permit
• Has experience and enjoys working with children (ages 4+) and teens
• Has experience and passion for treating those who have grief, anxiety, ADHD.
• Has experience and enjoys working in individual and group therapy sessions
• Is open to slowly growing the position to around 20 clients with opportunity for more
• Excellent and timely submission of clinical note writing. Excellent communication, clinical and organizational skills
• Experience using Simple Practice EHR and Google Suite programs or willingness to learn
• Is comfortable with technology
• Has experience creating and implementing treatment plans and quarterly reviews on every client using our Simple Practice software.
• Has the ability to complete progress notes and all chart documentation within specified time frames.
